Hey, I’m DJ, a proud all-American dad who loves my family, great food, golf and of course, a lot of country music. Back 9 Blends started as something simple: me in the kitchen, trying to satisfy my wife’s pregnancy cravings with homemade recipes. What began as a way to keep her (and let’s be honest, myself) well-fed, quickly turned into a passion for sharing my favorite flavors with others. As the question of “What do you want for dinner tonight?” quickly began to evolve, the flavor options were endless, just dependent upon a simple craving.

Cooking has always been my way of bringing people together, whether it’s around the dinner table or the grill after a long day on the course. Seeing family and friends come together is what makes my heart whole.

As I shared more of my go-to recipes, I realized I wasn’t the only one looking for bold, all-purpose flavors that make cooking easy and delicious. That’s when Back 9 was born, a seasoning line made for anyone who loves great flavor without overcomplicating things. Keeping it easy, yet tasty is the name of the game.
